Reciprocation is when resources (e.g. time, money, network, etc.) are committed to you and you delivered on your promise. It could be an unspoken promise. It could be something simple as a genuine "Thank you", but there is always an expectation of something in return. Nothing is free.

Reputation is when someone else valued you or your efforts and told other people. Be endorsed by others and build trust.

Pre-commitment is experience, certification, and professional licenses. Who would you trust to perform a medical operation? Jane Doe, M.D. or Jack Johnson.
