A conflict for pleasure.


Your present self wants instant gratification.

Your future self wants delayed gratification.


Procrastination is the understanding that you should delay your gratification, but your instant gratification wins.


Are your current tasks in line with your long-term goals?

Are there ways you can make your current tasks more enjoyable so they satisfy both your instant and delayed gratification?
